Rachelle Pedersen is a second year Master’s to Ph.D. student studying Engineering Education. Prior to graduate school, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science at Colorado State University focusing in Technology Education. She spent five years as a high school teacher in Connecticut, teaching courses like Robotics, AP Computer Science, and Video Production. Rachelle’s current research and passion focuses on broadening participation in STEM and helping young women develop a strong STEM identity. She is the current Outreach Coordinator for WISE.
