About the Event

Lara Spagnola, PHR, SHRM-CP

As a Senior Human Resources Generalist, Lara serves as the main point of contact for HR administration and recruitment at MedThink. She has 4 years’ experience managing employee onboarding, benefit administration, engagement, culture, and professional development at MedThink. Lara also manages MedThink’s internship program, which serves to connect local and out-of-state PhD and undergraduate students with career opportunities across the agency.

Deirdre (Dee) Rodeberg, PhD, MA

As a Senior Medical Writer, Dee has experience in publication development, strategic planning, medical information, and disease state education. She has 7 years of combined medical and scientific writing experience. Dee's therapeutic areas of expertise include neurology (neurobiology, mental illness/health, addiction, behavioral neuroscience), immunology (psoriasis and immunodermatology, inflammatory bowel disease, osteoarthritis, kidney disease), rare diseases, and obesity. Dee earned her BA in Neuroscience from Middlebury College and her MA and PhD in Psychology (Behavioral Neuroscience, minor in Neurobiology) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Manisit Das, PhD

As an Associate Medical Writer at MedThink SciCom, Manisit is responsible for developing medical and scientific content, specifically in the areas of neurology and oncology. Previously, he worked with academic research groups in the United States, Taiwan, and India. He has 6 years of experience in scientific writing for academia and developing abstracts, manuscripts, presentations, slide decks, and scientific blogs. His therapeutic areas of expertise are gastrointestinal oncology and drug delivery platforms. Manisit earned his MS in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill working on drug development for pancreatic cancer.
