About the Event
Zoom a WISE Woman is a virtual outreach program that pairs K-12 classes with female scientists and engineers. WISE Volunteers have an opportunity to share their STEM story with students (your background, education, STEM journey, the cool work you do, and how your work impacts society/environment/people). This is an ongoing program that often has multiple events every month. We are always looking for volunteers from a variety of backgrounds as we try to match teacher requests for specific STEM fields as best as possible.
Interested in volunteering as a WISE Woman to talk with kids about the cool work you do? Inspire future engineers, scientists, mathematicians, and our world’s problem solvers with stories from your work and perseverance. Sign-up below to be matched with a classroom of excited kiddos who want to hear about your experiences. Our WISE Outreach team will contact you when we have a match with a class!
