About the Event

Dr. Kristin Patrick, Assistant Professor, Microbial Pathogenesis & Immunology

Dr. Kristin Patrick earned her PhD in Microbiology at Yale University and completed her post-doctoral studies at the University of California, San Francisco. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Texas A&M Health Science Center where her laboratory studies post-transcriptional gene expression regulation during the innate immune response in the Department of Microbial Pathogenesis and Immunology.


Dr. Raquel Sitcheran, Associate Professor, Molecular & Cellular Medicine

Dr. Raquel Sitcheran earned her PhD in Physiology and Genetics at the University of California, San Francisco and completed her post-doctoral studies at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Texas A&M Health Science Center where her laboratory studies NF-kB regulatory proteins and how they impact cancer cell growth and mitochondria dysfunction in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Medicine.
